Choose products for people and pets you love.

Start with suitability and size

For pet products, match collars, coats, beds, toys and travel accessories to the animal's size and behaviour. Check the supplier's fit guidance, measurements and any supervision requirements. A toy suitable for one dog may not be suitable for an animal that chews heavily or can swallow small parts.

Check toy age guidance carefully

For children's activities, read the recommended age range, warnings about small components, batteries and any adult supervision requirements. Some craft sets contain materials that are unsuitable for very young children. Do not rely on a product's colourful appearance or marketing image as proof of suitability.

Look at materials and cleaning instructions

Products used frequently by children or pets may need to be cleaned regularly. Check whether a fabric item is washable, whether a bowl is suitable for the intended food or water use, and whether materials are appropriate for the supplier's stated purpose. Product descriptions should make any special handling or maintenance clear.

Compare what comes in the box

When browsing craft kits, play sets, pet travel products or baby accessories, confirm the actual quantity, sizes and included pieces. A photograph may show props or accessories not included in the listing. For products that need batteries or assembly, check whether these are supplied.

Order with realistic delivery expectations

Supplier dispatch times vary, and multi-item baskets may split into separate deliveries. If an item is intended for a particular birthday or trip, review delivery options before paying and leave adequate margin.

Before you order: a quick checklist

• Measure pets and compare supplier sizing charts.
• Read toy age warnings and supervise where appropriate.
• Check small-parts and battery information.
• Look for cleaning guidance and exact pack contents.
