1. About ONAGONE

ONAGONE is an independent sole-trader business based in the Rotherham / S63 area of South Yorkshire.

We provide vehicle breakdown recovery, vehicle transport, non-running vehicle collection and scrap-car collection services.

These terms explain the conditions under which ONAGONE provides its services.

Nothing in these terms affects your statutory consumer rights.

2. Our Services

ONAGONE provides:

- Breakdown and vehicle recovery.

- Local and longer-distance vehicle transport.

- Non-running and accident-damaged vehicle collection.

- Scrap-car quotations and collection.

- Vehicle transport for private and trade customers.

Services are subject to availability, vehicle suitability, safe access and operational requirements.

We do not guarantee immediate attendance unless an estimated attendance arrangement has been expressly confirmed.

3. Quotes and Booking Requests

Customers can request quotations and bookings through our website or by contacting ONAGONE.

Submitting a request does not guarantee that a driver is available or that a booking has been accepted.

Our process is:

1. The customer submits their vehicle and location details.

2. ONAGONE checks availability and assesses the requirements.

3. We confirm whether the job can be accepted and provide the applicable price.

4. For chargeable recovery or transport services, a secure payment link may be issued.

5. Following acceptance and any required payment, the booking is confirmed and service arrangements are communicated.

No payment is required simply to submit an enquiry.

4. Pricing

Prices depend on the type of service, distance, vehicle condition, accessibility and any specialist requirements.

Any published starting prices or estimates are indicative unless expressly confirmed as a final quotation.

Additional charges may apply for circumstances such as:

- Incorrect collection or destination information.

- Difficult vehicle access.

- Specialist loading equipment.

- Extended waiting time.

- Additional work not included in the original quotation.

- Material differences in vehicle condition or weight.

Where reasonably practicable, additional charges will be explained and agreed before extra chargeable work is undertaken.

We will not impose undisclosed or unfair charges.

5. Customer Responsibilities

Customers must provide accurate information, including:

- Vehicle registration and description.

- Collection and destination locations.

- Whether the vehicle starts, rolls, steers and brakes.

- Accident damage or missing components.

- Wheel, tyre, suspension or steering defects.

- Access restrictions.

- Any known hazards relevant to recovery or transport.

Customers must have lawful authority to arrange the vehicle's recovery, transport or disposal.

Customers should remove personal belongings and valuables before collection where safe and practicable.

6. Breakdown Recovery and Safety

Customer and driver safety takes priority.

Customers should follow appropriate road safety guidance and emergency-service instructions.

ONAGONE may decline, postpone or stop a job where conditions create an unacceptable safety risk.

Motorway incidents, dangerous roadside locations, hazardous vehicles and specialist recovery situations may require additional arrangements or emergency assistance.

ONAGONE does not replace emergency services or traffic authorities.

7. Vehicle Collection and Transport

Customers must ensure that the vehicle is accessible and ready for collection at the agreed time.

Where keys, access arrangements or specialist instructions are necessary, these should be provided before dispatch.

Collection and delivery times are estimates unless expressly agreed otherwise.

Delays may occur because of traffic, weather, road closures, breakdowns or circumstances outside our reasonable control.

We will communicate material delays where reasonably practicable.

8. Payment Terms

For chargeable recovery and transport services, payment arrangements will be explained when a booking is accepted.

Payment may be requested through a secure payment link before dispatch.

Any payment taken will relate to the agreed service and quotation.

Scrap-car payments are arranged according to the agreed vehicle collection terms.

Where legally required, scrap-vehicle payments will be made through permitted cashless methods.

9. Cancellations and Refunds

Customers may withdraw unaccepted booking requests without charge.

Cancellation of confirmed bookings is governed by our published Cancellation, Returns and Refund Policy and applicable UK consumer law.

Where a driver has already been dispatched or work has begun, a reasonable and lawful charge may apply for services already provided.

For qualifying distance contracts, statutory cancellation rights may apply.

Where a customer expressly requests immediate performance during an applicable cancellation period, any payment due following cancellation will be calculated in accordance with the law.

Nothing in these terms removes a customer's statutory rights.

10. Scrap-Car Quotations

Scrap-car quotations are based on information supplied by the customer.

Factors affecting an offer may include vehicle make, model, age, condition, completeness, location and collection access.

ONAGONE may revise an offer where the vehicle materially differs from its description.

The customer will be informed of any revised offer before agreeing to proceed.

Customers are not required to accept a revised offer.

11. Scrap-Car Ownership and Documentation

Customers arranging scrap-car collection must have lawful authority to dispose of the vehicle.

We may request appropriate identification, vehicle registration documents or other evidence of authority.

Vehicles must be handled through lawful waste-management and vehicle-disposal arrangements.

Where an authorised treatment facility is responsible for issuing a Certificate of Destruction, such a certificate can only be supplied once genuinely issued by that facility.

A quotation or collection booking does not constitute confirmation that a vehicle has been destroyed.

Customers remain responsible for any applicable DVLA notification requirements unless another arrangement is expressly agreed and lawfully completed.

12. Waste Management and Environmental Compliance

ONAGONE aims to handle vehicle collections in accordance with applicable waste-management and environmental requirements.

Where a vehicle is collected as waste, the appropriate carrier registration, transfer arrangements and authorised receiving facilities must be used as required by law.

Any waste carrier registration information published on our website must correspond to the actual registered operator.

ONAGONE does not claim to operate an authorised treatment facility unless it holds the necessary authorisation.

13. Vehicle Condition and Existing Damage

Customers should disclose existing damage and mechanical defects before recovery or transport.

Where practicable, vehicle condition may be documented before loading or collection.

Some damaged or non-running vehicles require additional handling, and pre-existing defects may affect the method of recovery.

ONAGONE will take reasonable care when handling vehicles.

We are responsible for losses or damage to the extent required by applicable law, including where caused by our failure to exercise reasonable care and skill.

14. Liability

ONAGONE will provide services with reasonable care and skill.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, fraudulent misrepresentation or any other liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

For consumer customers, nothing in these terms restricts statutory rights or remedies.

Any claim will be assessed according to the circumstances, available evidence and applicable law.

15. Used Vehicle Parts

Where used vehicle parts are offered for sale, descriptions should identify their condition and any relevant limitations.

Customers should check compatibility before ordering.

Consumer purchases remain subject to applicable statutory rights, including rights relating to faulty or misdescribed goods and qualifying distance-selling cancellations.

Any additional terms for used parts must be disclosed before purchase.

16. Website Use

Customers must not misuse the website, submit fraudulent bookings, provide false vehicle information or interfere with the operation of our systems.

We may refuse requests involving suspected fraud, unlawful activity or unacceptable safety risks.

17. Personal Information

We process personal information in accordance with our published Privacy Policy and applicable UK data protection legislation.

This may include booking details, contact information, vehicle registrations, collection locations and information necessary to provide our services.

Privacy enquiries can be sent to car@onagone.co.uk.

18. Complaints

If you are dissatisfied with a service, please contact us with:

- Your name.

- Booking reference, if available.

- Vehicle registration.

- Date of service.

- Details of the complaint.

- Relevant photographs or supporting information, where appropriate.

Email: car@onagone.co.uk

We will investigate complaints fairly and respond within a reasonable time.

19. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time.

Updated terms will be published on our website.

Changes will not retrospectively remove contractual or statutory rights relating to an existing booking.

20. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, subject to any mandatory consumer protections that apply.
